I am Edith Riffe, born and bred in the seaport town of Beaufort, Carteret County. My passion lies in spending time on the water and shelling. Over the years, I've honed my skills as a crafter, particularly in shell crafting. My early career was rooted in the restaurant industry, where I dedicated 20 years at the Net House Restaurant, managing it for a decade. When it was time for a change, I transitioned into Real Estate, a field I had long considered. Now a licensed realtor, I take joy in assisting people with their housing needs. Our firm specializes in both long-term and vacation rentals. If you're looking to buy, sell, or rent, I'm here to provide guidance every step of the way.

I was born and raised in Virginia. I moved to North Carolina in 2002 and would never go back. I love the beach, fishing, and animals. I have three cats and three dogs. My name is Heather Mloganoski. I am a wife, a mom to a middle school age girl, a sister, and a dependable and honest friend. I really enjoyed school, so I went all the way through...a PhD from NC State, a Master's degree from ECU, and an undergraduate from Keene State College in NH. My background is in counseling and education. I have been a Professor, a Therapist, and a Teacher. I switched careers to become a real estate agent so I could spend more time with my daughter and my family. I never miss a school event, a doctors appointment, or anything related to my family obligations. I love real estate and property management! I am still helping people, just in a different way. Vacation Rentals are my specialty, whether you want to buy a rental or vacation in one!
I love living in Carteret County! I moved here from Charlottesville, Virginia in 2012, after spending 5 years driving down to take the boat to Cape Lookout every chance we got. When not working, I spend my time on the water boating and kayaking, as well as traveling, reading, playing music, and writing. My wife and I have been together since we were 16, and that was 1978. We have two adult boys and three grandkids. In addition to being a Realtor, I also do website design and newsletters under the dba Andante Creative Designs. I am a retired teacher and principal, having served more than 30 years working with kids.
